Games for Entertainment

Attaining freedom after the major examinations are always sweet, especially when those games are better enjoyed when there is plenty of time.
.
One of which was Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, consisting of 1) Explorers of Time, 2) Explorers of Darkness and 3) Explorers of Sky!
.

Although I played and finished the whole story within the game before, it was a wonderful experience to replay those games! Furthermore, my favourite character, Pikachu, was within the game!
..
Pikachu!

Another game was Facebook's Sims Social! It was a nice game, provided that there were many friends to help send items for completing the quest and if furniture were cheaper!

Coming up next was Civilization 5!
This is a strategy game, where one role-played the leader of a country and many small city-states accompany you within the game. Cool graphics and it will be truly entertaining when you win the game!

In addition, I also took the time to play Neopets!
Since there was the Advent calendar in Neopets and new surprises were given every day on December, so I would not want to miss that! I also re-decorated my neopets using items given by the Advent calendar, ever since I last played years ago! I wish I could get 1 more neopet! =D

What is your take?

People choose to ignore the naked truth when it is right in front of them.

Is it because they do not understand?

Is it because they choose not to understand?

Is it because they do understand but choose to ignore it?

Why?

Is it because they are afraid of the norms? Then, what is the norm? Who set the norms? Are the norms right and correct?

Or it is because it is what’s popular than what’s right?

Maybe, it is because it is not simple enough for understanding? Is it due to language barrier or the inability to perceive the meaning?

Maybe it is understandable for them to not be able to perceive the truth.

It will be delighted to know that one day when they do grab hold of the chance to understand the truth and choose to abstain from the false. They will be better than those who know the truth, but choose to stray from it.

However, even if they choose to stray from the truth, are they wrong or are they right?

Before being enlightened, they may believe the fake as truth. They may choose to continue to be ignorant. They may deem those who stay true to the truth as fools. Yet, it is because they still do not have the affinity to encounter the truth.

What about after they are enlightened?

“Lucky” ones will be able to escape the prison enclosing them away from the truth, while “unlucky” ones will choose to continue to stay within the cell as they deem the cell to be where the “truth” holds.

Are the “lucky” ones truly lucky or are the “unlucky” ones truly unlucky? Everyone has their own mission in this world. Those who do not see the mission are no to be blamed as the time has not come for them to realize it.

Then do the “unlucky” ones not know what the future holds? Maybe they do, maybe they do not.

It is not a matter of choice at all.

You think you know how to differentiate between the truth and the false. Yes, maybe you do. Since it does not really matter whether you do as you will know when the time comes.

On the search for the truth, one may lose oneself or be trapped forever within with no light towards the end of the tunnel.

It is alright to make mistakes, for this world is the place for you to learn the path towards the truth.

Yet, ultimately, there is no truth at all. True?

Holidays!

It's the time of the year again!

Nope, it's not Chinese New Year, Christmas nor any festive sessions. Its June Holidays!

I LOVE HOLIDAYS! -- You get a chance to sleep, eat, play and the cycle repeats itself!
Well, it was supposed to be that way. Yet, some things are of greater priority then the 3 "must do" as mentioned above!
Why is it a priority?! It just concerns the future! Since "sleep, eat, play" can wait and I do it almost every day, I have no other choice but to place it at the top of the to-do-list for my June Holidays.
Nonetheless, it's not the end of the world yet.
I can cope pretty well, I guess.
Just add a little discipline, determination, ambition, with less Lazy, Slack, Procrastination and it should turn out fine.
The major Event is just around the corner! I don't really have much time left either.
If we think on the bright side, I still have at least a week (including today, while I'm typing my time away).
If we think pessimistically, I am running out of precious time while I'm typing my life away! Oh my...
Ideally, do the right thing at the right time.
Practically, do the right thing at the best time. (Well, some things are just beyond control. I'm finding excuses again!)
I guess what matters most is to live happily ever after and excluding all the unnecessary troubles in life!
Ciao! =D

Overcoming the odds

Impossible is Possible
.
Jolin Tsai 蔡依林 inspiring moments.
.

When you feel like giving up on something, watching some inspiring things may really help. After watching this, I feel that there were a lot of people who were giving their best in everything they do and what they want to achieve are challenging. This leaves me to ponder why sometimes I could not put in the determination needed for simple task that I choose to procrastinate than finished it.

The feeling of "Time wasted" or "Nothing accomplished today" started to swell up. Yet, I knew that I would feel this way if I choose the corresponding actions.

Disaster is frequently reported on the news nowadays and the recent Japan's earthquake that results in tsunami and subsequently the nuclear power plant leakage shown evidence that humans are still no match for Nature. To make things worse, Japan was snowing and it was definitely freezing for the people in Japan, especially those who lost everything in just a split second.

However, warmth could still be felt. Rescue missions were still in progress, which is still within the golden 72 hours and dangers of possible aftershock still lurked. People in Japan were calm and there were no signs of unrest. For example, people queued up in orderly manner to make phone calls to their love ones and lined up to make purchases in convenient stores. This contributed to reducing woes of the damage brought about by the disaster. Imagine people started robbing and stirring up trouble while rescue missions were being carried out, this would make matters worse.

People affected by disaster were able to pull themselves together after a big disaster and this was not easy. If they could overcome the difficulties ahead of them and rebuild their life from scratch, why would we not achieve little simple task in life?

If impossible is possible, the little difficulties that we faced in life are considered as peanuts to those trying to survive in real disaster. Instead of whining, think about how others can achieve the impossible and why you could not.

Besides that, learn the art of 'letting go'. For illustration, when facing a tsunami, if you could not let go of physical items, like your house, and you hesitate for just that spilt second, you may end up being swept away by the tsunami. By letting go, there will be fewer burdens to carry. Applying this art of 'letting go' to individual level, things that may annoy us or make us angry may seem insignificant. You may realise that there is nothing to feel negative about and it is definitely not impossible to say "I can". You may then feel that it is really stupid of you to get work up at little things that you could just brush off and ignore it.

It is possible to achieve the impossible if you think you can. If there are people who can put more than 100% into things they do and there are people who survived great disaster, impossible is possible. I'm sure you are one of those who have 'levelled up', do you?

a REAL Makeover

Last time, it was a picture that was edited, where I just placed a wig over the head!
.
.
As compared to now, I got a new haircut and there you got it!
.
.
It felt great that I got a new haircut! I took a shorter time to shower and dry my hair. I can run without a heavy burden on my head. I did not even need to worry about my hair getting messy from a sudden gust of wind!
.
There were various reactions towards my sudden change in hairstyle. Some were utterly shocked and asked whether I was under too much stressed. Some were in favour of the new haircut (and those were the ones that persuaded me for the change). Some just did not care. Lol.
.
Those were initial reactions.
.
After that, nicknames started to pop out like mushrooms -- ranging from Chicken Little (when I wore glasses) to boy-boy, etc.
.
Those nicknames did not matter at all. I would not die from just these names, so I was surprised at how creative people were in coming up with nicknames. I'm sure they can definitely join the marketing department and come up with creative ideas for their projects.
.
A new haircut for a new year! After keeping long hair for 2 years, this was probably a really bold move but I did not regret it. Let's be brave and faced everything with courage! =D
.
Ciao!
